  • 34-lb bag

  • Pretty Good Smells better and has much less dust than clumping clay litter. Our laundry room where we keep the cat boxes was coated in a layer of gray dust from the clay litter but the pine litter eliminates that. The only downside is that it is more difficult to sift the pine litter through a scooper without breaking up pee clumps. Overall definitely worth the switch.
Great Healthy Natural Product! Long lasting.. don't need to change as oftenGreat odor control..
We love this litter! We are so glad we discovered this product. Was attracted to it because of the fresh pine scent. It lasts way longer than regular cat litter. It definitely takes away the yucky smell of cat pee and poo!And I can just dump the stuff I scoop out in the woods because it's environment friendly! It's cheaper at my pet store than on line .
Feline fresh We have used this product for a while and it works pretty well as a general litter but the key is flushability. It is not as tight clumping as nonflush but still works well and controls odor. We havent used any other flushable brand but the reviews I have seen are accurate. The only thing is since it is basically sawdust small particles are pretty much everywhere since it is so light.
Yuk I was hoping to replace my dusty clumping clay litter with this as clay dust is not good to inhale by cats or humans. Unfortunately this product is VERY dusty and the fact that it's all natural doesn't make it any better to inhale into your respiratory passages.
Quite Good But VERY Dusty Having tried other nonclay litters that either didn't clump didn't help odor tracked horribly or the cats just didn't like or did like eat I'd say this is the best nonclay litter I've tried. The clumps aren't as sturdy as I might like but good enough to do the job. It is lighter weight which is nice. The pine smell is pleasant and doesn't seem to bother the cats one of whom is sometimes fussy. It's only downside is it is extremely dusty. A cloud forms so thickly each time I scoop that I have to wash my glasses afterwards. I had a navy polar fleece jacket on one day and the dust stuck to that so badly I had to throw it right in the washing machine. As the boxes are in the unfinished basement this has been tolerable but I'm hesitant to buy again. So if you are dust tolerant go for it but if the box is in a place that matters you might weigh other options.
Cat won't let me use anything else I can't use any other cat litter or my cat will not use the litter box. Overall though she's made a pretty good choice.ProsYou can flush this litterSmells pineyNaturalConsThe size of the litter pieces are pretty small and light. So it ends up outside of the box or in her long fur.Fresh Pine smell doesn't last that long 3 days?Clumping could be improved. There are often small clumps that fall through the scooper.I'd like to make one more comment about the smell the pine smell goes away in about 3 days but the litter isn't stinky until about 1014 days. I clean it often twice a day.
Doesn't Clump Horrible Tracking Dusty I don't know how this company can say this is clumping litter. What little sticking power it has is lost the minute the cat covers up or just moves around in the boxand don't even try to scoop it up without having it totally crumble no matter how carefully you come up from underneath. Since there's no color change you can't even tell where the dirty pieces are when that happens. It tracksall over the house. My clay clumping tracked only on the mats I have in the dedicated cat room. I now have sawdust in every room of my house. It's dustier than the clay litter I was using. This matters to me a lot since I have an asthmatic cat and trying this was just the latest in an ongoing effort to find something virtually dustless that he will actually agree to use. His head is staying dusty from using this.It does have good odor control.that's why I gave it the second star. But you have to like the smell of freshly cut wood I actually do because that's what your entire house will smell like. The cat likes it.to the point where he's going into the box just to play. He's 12 1/2 and has never done this before.
feline fresh scoopable clumping pine cat litter This litter is nice but I found it has only a little less dust from all other cat litters.
Something's changed recently with this product I've used Feline Fresh for about two years starting with the regular and then switching to the clumping type. I've been very pleased with it overall and my two cats took to it immediately and with no issues.I just bought a 34 pound bag however and when I first cleaned the litter box I had to do a doublecheck because it appeared as if I had gotten the nonclumping variety by mistake. But no the bag is clearly marked as Scoopable Clumping. However it just does not hold together. Even if you take great care when scooping out the urinesoaked litter it just crumbles into small bits. I did some searching online and discovered that other people have recently noted this problem. I don't know if Feline Fresh is going to fix this problem but this doesn't look good. They should be able to produce a consistent product.

  • May not be safe for cats We have been using World's Best Cat Litter for Multiple Cats for over a year now. I saw the scented product come out and decided to give it a try. The cats seemed to like it we have five but now a week later two of our cats have come down with bladder infections. They refuse to use the cat boxes and have blood in their urine. We have not changed their diet they are drinking plenty of clean water we have the proper number of catboxes 6 and I scrubbed the cat boxes like I always do before putting in the new litter. The only thing I can think of is this new litter so we are heading to the store to get the unscented litter and replacing all the litter tonight. I can't confirm 100% that the cause is the litter but it just seems so suspect at this point. We have never had any of our cats get a bladder infection and now two are sick. World's Best Cat Litter makes a great product but I will never buy their scented products again. Just thought I would post our experience.
Scented I've used this brand of cat litter for years and love it! I've actually got two litter boxes in a closet in my bedroom so odor control is a key issue. World's Best does the trick. However this last goround I decided to try the Scented purple bag and I've no idea what scent they are shooting for but its not good. Not good at all. I struggle to describe it.. but it's a sort of spicy pumpkinish like smell.I'll be sticking with the unscented sort.
Really is the World's Best Cat Litter IMHO Recently switched to this brand after one of my cats developed some asthma symptoms. Started doing a little online research about various litters was shocked at what I read about the clay litters especially the clumping type. The cats have no trouble with this litter and the odor is actually better than the clay stuff IMHO. I use a covered litter pan and I clean the box 23 times per day one of my cats is picky and if there is a job in the box he will go on the puppy pads outside the box. Also I wipe down the inside of the cover and the pan as both cats like to spray inside the box. This keeps odors to practically nothing. It is MUCH better than any of the clay litters less odor less dust less litter on the floor. I hope this company stays in business forever because this really is the best litter I have tried. In general I honestly don't think there is any kind of litter that you can let cats use for several days without cleaning. That is just poor hygiene and no litter will last with that lack of maintenance.
Better than the unscented. I tried the lavender because the unscented version of World's Best Cat Litter was lacking in odor control. The lavender does have better odor control but still isn't quite as good as the clay litters I have tried in that aspect. I suppose it also doesn't help that I have a cat that doesn't bury her stools. I still prefer this litter over the clay litter because World's Best is unbelievably less dusty than the clay litter. With the clay I was even noticing dust build up in my cats' nostrils which can't be good for them and made me wonder how much of that dust was getting in their lungs. I have not seen any of that with this litter. So I guess there is no perfect litter out there and you just have to decide which positive aspects are more important to you and what you are willing to deal with on the negative side.
The STINKIEST cat litter EVER!!! STAY AWAY!! I have ALWAYS had cats. I just adopted a retired show cat and wanting to keep familiarity in his new home I bought World's Best Cat Litter with the lavendar scent. I have to say I have NEVER had such a stinky house since I got this stuff. It is not the cat either. I have 2 boxes set up my original litter robot and the booda dome with this litter and even my litter robot stinks only my old cat uses my robot as the new one doesn't know what to think of it!!! It really does not clump very well either maybe not being able to get all of the pee out is one reason for the stink. I do not know how all these good reviews have come about but from someone who DOES NOT like their house to smell of cat box I will NOT be buying this stuff again!! It is WAY more expensive than regular clumping litter and it is not much better than using regular clay in my opinion. Maybe others will have better results but I will go back to buying my tried and true clumping litter and NOT have a house that smells like I have 20 cats living in it.
This stuff is fantastic I can't be terribly creative with this review so I won't try. Simply put it does exactly what it says it does. It doesn't track as badly as other litters we have used. It traps odor brilliantly and the lavender scent is lovely. I don't burn candles in the bathroom anymore because the cat litter smells so good. I know that sounds nuts but it's true. The best thing for me is the antiseepage. Urine doesn't seep to the bottom so all the clumps are right on top making it easy to scoop out. My cats boys if it matters haven't even seemed to notice the difference. It's changed our lives as cat owners. I don't see us going back to the old stuff.
Worst Stench Ever I have probably tried every litter on the market and decided to try World's Best Again. I was disappointed last time as it made the house smell like a barn. I read the reviews about how the extra strength was better. The stench of the litter even before the cats had used it stunk up the whole house .. it smelled like unwashed bodies .. and it did not diminish.. I finally got rid of the whole mess .. I couldn't stand it anymore. Absolutely the worst litter I have ever tried. Less than one star .. zero stars.
Smells like feet Okay when I first got this litter home my kitties were really hesitant to use it but eventually they caved. I really loved it at first and they got used to it too. I thought all of the bad odor reviews must be from people with really sensitive noses or something b/c all I smelled was lavender. I mean of course I'd smell poop too when the kitty who doesn't cover his would go but I'd just scoop it or cover it if I didn't have time to scoop right then. We were scooping daily really loving this litter but about a week in we started to notice a weird smell in the house. Like stinky feet. I know others have compared it to vomit but this smells just like yucky feet smell to me. With as expensive as this litter is I won't be buying it again considering it needs to be fully changed weekly to prevent the nasty smell. Sucks b/c I don't want to try Arm and Hammer looks like it would track everywhere and I've heard about major bug issues with Swheat. =/ Really wanted this litter to work out.
Below Average I'm not a huge fan of the scented cat litter. The litter box seems to smell more foul than it did when I just had some basic unscented litter. I don't plan on purchasing this product again.

  • Pay Attn Don't Buy This Product House Reeked I don't usually write reviews. However I decided that I really need to describe my experience with this product so that you can understand why some people give it 5 stars and some give it 1 or 2 stars. I have two Persian cats who will use almost any litter. So I decided to try this because of the commercials and the reviews on this site. While the litter does a decent job at first of clumping and covering urine smell it does nothing to knock down poop odor. Also it needs to be changed very frequently to cover up the urine smell. For the first time in the 11 years that I've owned my two cats my house actually reeked from the smell of the litter box. Even my cat sitter who is a vet tech and helps me out when I need to travel begged me to go back to a clumping clay litter.Don't ignore this post I don't have anything to gain other than to save you money and the annoyance of determining that you need to get rid of this stuff.
It smells worse than my cat's feces It smells so bad. I think my cat litters in it and doesn't track his feces because he too is repulsed by the smell of the cat litter.
For once the product name is appropriate My beloved 12 year old cat PuBare Scherezade developed asthma a few years ago. I wanted to get a dust free litter and after many experiments I discovered World's Best.I'm sad that several people are having one star experiences.PROSClumps like a rock!Smells a little like corn. Nice smell even right after use.NO dust. Really NO dust.My 3 adult cats share one Booda Dome box and have never complained about their litter or missed the box.Bright yellow color is easy to spot when it gets on the surrounding carpet. Easy to pick up for cleanliness.DISCLOSURE I usually buy the regular strength instead of the multicat. They work equally well I ge whatever is on sale. It's not on sale often so I buy 15 bags when it is on sale.CONSPricey.A really great product. Check on the single cat version.
Matches its name I did quite a bit of research before ordering this product for use in an automatic litter box. It does a great job of clumping and best of all as long as the cat covers over his business it kills the smell. I will continue ordering this product as long as I use this litter box. But be careful when you order because some of the listings for this product are eligible for free shipping and some are not.
Smells worse than poop! I picked this up because there was a coupon for it and I've been trying to find a litter that is more natural This litter clumps amazingly but it smells SOUR. I'm used to scooping the cat box but this litter smells worse than cat feces and urine. I'll definitely be switching back to something less repulsive.
World's Best Cat Litter is a better alternative I recently switched to World's Best Cat Litter Multiple Cat Formula because I wanted to avoid breathing the silica dust produced by ordinary clay litters and wanted to be more environmentally responsible. I have eight cats and 3 litter boxes. I've always been fastidious scooping the litter boxes at times scooping 3x a day. Visitors are always surpised to learn I have cats except when one cat conveniently decides to move his bowels as my guests are arriving! The World's Best Cat Litter does not produce dust. It clumps quite sufficientlyI use large slotted stainless steel spoons for scooping better than the plastic ones made for cat litter and the corn based litter will not stick to the box like cement nor damage my vacuum cleaner this is a huge plus as I use a Miele. On the downside the litter has an earthy smell that at times mimics the scent of a barn. Not offensive to me however I can see where some reviewers would find this odor repulsive. I simply clean out the box and top it off with fresh litter. I am also concerned about aflatoxins in the corn litter as a previous poster commented about. It could potentially cause irreversable liver damage. I am monitoring my cats closely. On the other hand ordinary clay litters scented and unscented mask odors much better than WBCL but the dust is awful and clings to everything including the walls. Imagine poor kitties breathing that dust with their noses level to the cat litter! The clay clumps better but it takes twice the amount of clay to absorb urine and I often have huge clumps cemented to the bottom of the litter box because my cats find it necessary to dig to China before relieving themselves. Clay litter is twice the weight of corn based litter so lugging boxes or bags of it to and fro make for back breaking work.
Yikes it stinks! I like several other people wanted desperately to love this product. I wanted my 5 cats to not have to deal with dust and tracking litter. I wanted not to deal with it either. I wanted people to seem surprised when they found out that I actually had 5 cats in my home. They were surprised but only because they thought I had 10 of the stinkiest creatures in God's creation. The smell was awful. Sure it covered up the smell of urine nicely. But the smell of feces was overpowering. I would wait by the litter and try to scoop it up immediately to avoid the stench. We stuck it out for a week until finally we could take no more. Maybe our cats are stinkier than the average cat but I doubt it.
CRITICAL WARNING!!! I purchased a bag of WBCL trying to change to something that would be healthier for my two beloved babies and to help the environment. Within two days of switching my four year old female became ill. After 10 days at the vet's and $1000 later my precious angel was dead from an acute liver failure. I was devastated and bewildered at how this could happen. When my male started showing the same signs I rushed him to the vet and we again starting treating him aggressively for acute liver failure. After hours of research I learned that corn left in a high humidity and high temp climate can lead to the growth of an unbelievably deadly and carcingogenic toxin known as Aflatoxin. This toxin directly attacks the liver and almost always leads to death. My vet doesn't want to get involved and other responses from the company I have seen state that they do not take responsibility for this. After removing the litter from my home my male began to immediately improve and it looks like he may survive.
I couldn't stand the smell. I would have given this product one star but I'm willing to admit that one of the things I don't like about it being flushable is simply my own personal choice. I tried this because I'm very particular about the litter box. I have 2 cats and I scoop our litter box twice a day and completely change it once a week. My husband suggest I try this litter after seeing a commercial for it. We decided that it would be more environmentally friendly and easier because it was flushable. The first thing I noticed is that I don't like flushing the litter.
Great Litter! I have had indoor cats for the past 25 years. I have always used clay clumping litter until 2 years ago when one of my cats came down with asthma. My vet suggested taking the cover off of the litter box but I have one cat who throws the litter out of the box. I did some research and ended up with Feline Pine and most recently World's Best Cat Litter. Both of these are much better for a cat's health and I have noticed fewer asthma attacks with my cat in particular. Clay litters scoopable and nonscoopable are toxic to people and pets. Their dust is carcinogenic and since one of my cats suffers from asthma which I believe is from the litter box I am determined to use the safest litter possible. One of the previous reviewers said there is a smell if the cat doesn't bury its business which is true. However I have had no problem with odor and find it soooo easy to clean the litter box with World's Best. It doesn't track as badly as the Feline Pine scoopable. Also who is the litter for anyway the cat or people? Many litters are made for people scented.

    • Chemical free and safe for your cat
    • Designed for multiple cat homes
    • Nett weight 10.2 pounds per bag
    • No dust and no tracking
    • Neutralizes odor naturally

    • Useless Picked up a bag of this on recommendation from the lady at our neighborhood pet store. This litter consists of large sawdust pellets that are too big to fall through the scooper and as soon as they get wet they disintegrate into damp sawdust that smells rather piny and neutral but is impossible to scoop because it doesn't clump whatsoever. This is the opposite of how I want my litter to act. The dirty stuff falls through the scoop while the clean stuff gets stuck in it?I don't think my cats like the damp sawdust either. They ended up peeing on their bed even though this litter was clean.I'll be going back to my nicesmelling cornbased litter that actually acts like proper litter.
Bad product. I bought this because it is a green product. However it was more trouble then it worth. It's hard to scoop needs frequent changing it tracks worse around the house and it does nothing to control the cat smell issue.
Works for me combined with a clumping litter After much trialanderror with natural litters I found that Feline Pine doesn't work at all for my cats by itself. However I've been using it in combination with a natural clumping litter for a couple of months now and it has been satisfactory though I'm not really sure if the Feline Pine is much of an improvement over the clumping litter alone. When my experiment with World's Best Cat Litter utterly failed on all counts hated the smell clumping was terrible cats didn't like it I moved on to Nature's Miracle clumping cornbased litter but it tracked everywhere in the house. Since the cats adapted well to a complete changeover from WBCL to NM without problems I started a brand new box with Feline Pine alone. That was a mistake. My cats were utterly confused by the texture resulting in one refusing to use the box entirely. The other cat went in the box but didn't cover her mess. So I dumped the box and started again with 1 of Feline Pine on the bottom and 2 of Nature's Miracle on the top as the Feline Pine bag suggests. The cats gradually mix it up as they dig and what doesn't get clumped up in the Nature's Miracle gets absorbed by the Feline Pine so it seems to be a good combination for odor control though my husband says he can smell it. I end up scooping 1x to 2x a day and top off the box with the Nature's Miracle so there's always a good 23 of litter at all times. After two weeks which is about when all of the Feline Pine pellets have dissolved into sawdust I dump the box scrub and sanitize it and start over.To be honest I'm not sure that the odor control or tracking is any better with the combination of the two litters than with Nature's Miracle alone.
OVERPRICED HORSE BEDDING. This is the same exact thing as horse bedding. From a feed shop you can get a 3040 lb bag of wood pellets aka Feline Pine for 7 dollars.
Use it right & this stuff rocks! Feline Pine Original disintegrating pellets is best used with a sifting sandbox 2 piece [] The VanNess brand seems to have holes too big which let Feline Pine pellets through. It may be designed for sifting out poops. The bottom piece is a standard litter pan. The top piece has a sort of gratelike bottom which allows the used/disintegrated sawdust to filter through into the solid bottom box where it collects away from the fresh litter and kitty's paws. When liquid does go straight through it is absorbed by the sawdust underneath and can be scooped out to further eliminate odor I use a plastic spoon. After a bit of maintenance tedium through the change from another style of litter my cat is happy & healthy there is no litterbox odor and we have nothing to do with the stripmining & landfilling of traditional clay litter.
Best Cat Litter! I have two cats so I really needed a litter that would control odor and I wanted something safe for my kitties and the environment. Feline Pine is the BEST litter I could find by far. Even if you are not interested in being environmentally friendly this is a great litter. It took a little while for one of my cats to get used to it. At first I switched them completely over and one of my kitties started going outside the box. I went back to the old litter and started gradually mixing the pellets in for about two weeks. Now both my cats use only the Feline Pine without any problems. It completely masks the smell of urine and is pretty good at masking the smell of poop. It lasts awhile too since you really only have to scoop the solid waste until the pellets turn to sawdust.I had previously tried Nature's Miracle and World's Best Cat Litter. Neither of them dealt well with odor. Nature's miracle clumped nicely but it smelled soo bad! It stunk up our whole house. The WBCL had a slightly less offensive smell but the clumping capabilities were not as good as NM. Feline Pine doesn't clump but it doesn't need to since you don't scoop out the urine. With some litters like WBCL urine seeps to the bottom of the pan and creates a sticky smelly residue but with Feline Pine the urine doesn't even get to the bottom of the pan since it is absorbed immediately by the pellets. It's just a really great litter and it's not as expensive as a lot of other natural brands.
Feline Pine Cat liter When I could not find this product in the grocery stores I was glad to find that Amazon.com had it available. I recently stocked up on this brand of liter. I find this product suits me well and my cat does not have any problem with it as well. This product does not have a bad smell is easy to clean up. I know where to get my supply if I need more. Thank you Aamzon.
Cat Litter I love this stuff. It works so well and is so much better for the environment than traditional litters. It even helps with smells naturally.
Amazing product! This is by far the best cat litter! My 18 week old cat loves it. I originally selected this litter because it was nonclumping. Sheba is learning to use the Litter Kwitter toilet training system which requires nonclumping litter. She will not kick this litter out of the toilet tray and there is absolutely no smell associated with the pellets. It's great! I highly suggest it to anyone using the toilet training systems as well.
Good Idea. This product is a good idea but unfortunately it did not work out well for myself or my cats. I take in feral kittens and I love our planet so I was trying to do a 2 for 1 with this litter. Figured these cats would like to do their business on something more 'Earthy' since that is what they would be used to. Wrong. They used it once. It smelled and they never used it again. Pellets cannot be 'reused' like carbon litter can. Once these get pee'd on its all over seems like it would get expensive and smell after a while.I really really wanted to like this I really wanted to use it but I just could not. I give it 3 stars cuz it least it is a good idea and if I run out of litter I will use whats left in my closet.

    • ultra smelly! I was really disappointed when I bought this litter. The packaging does not mention this version of A&H litter is scented it is and it stinks! The smell is a mix between pine and perfume very artificial very strong my whole house smells. I agree with the other reviewer that Ultra Last does not clump very well. I always buy A&H litter but I recommend sticking with Super Scoop.
Cat had a bad reaction Unlike other reviewers the scent of the litter didn't bother me at all. I don't think it smells anything like ammonia and I had no problem with it clumping like normal clumping litter. In fact I thought it was pretty great untilI noticed my cat was losing fur on all four of his legs. Not sure if he was doing it to himself constantly licking/chewing to clean off the litter or if it was an allergic reaction. I immediately switched back to Arm & Hammer Double Duty and his fur is slowly coming back in. My other cat was totally fine. So whether or not you like this stuff probably depends on you and your cat's tolerance of the strong scent.
Makes Humans Ill I bought this because I had a coupon and wanted to try this mythical longer lasting litter. Well like many reviewers have stated there is a pungent chemical aroma. I thought I could stand it but over time it started to carry through our ventilation system. Every time our furnace ran the scent of this litter was pumped through our home.I could always tell when the cats had used the box. When they would come to sit on my lap and I would put my face by their fur I recoiled from the horrible scent that also got embedded in their fur. I have never had this problem with the Super Scoop Unscented OR Scented varieties.I thought perhaps it was the smell of baking soda encapsulated each granule of litter but when I stuck my nose in a box of baking soda I will attest that the aroma is quite different. Baking soda in a box is odorless. The smell in the litter is not baking soda if it is baking soda it's not the same kind of baking soda you buy in the store. Please buy only a small size of this and test your own personal reaction to the product. I will agree to the product's claim that you cannot smell the cat litter and thus gave it two stars but the overwhelming scent of the litter itself may be worse and prevented me from rating it higher. Test your own body's sensitivities and hopefully you will not have such a strong negative reaction.
UGH!!! Going back to Fresh Step This litter is the worst we've ever used and we've tried many over the years. Weve settled with Fresh Step scoop able. It's wonderful. But I'm not here to discuss that. The smell of this litter is so strong and awful even pouring the fresh litter into the boxes is something else. I wouldn't even describe this litter's scent as piney its just ammonia like. Cardboard and ammonia. It also is a globby gloopy mess as other reviwers have described. It doesn't even keep my cats boxes fresh.
Very strong scent but very effective I got a box of this under a recent promo where you get a box for free after a mailin rebate. I've never used the Arm and Hammer brand of litter before I usually buy generic litter locally in 40 pound sacks I have a multicat household. Although this is much more expensive than generic litter I may buy it again. It has a VERY strong scent. I find that to be a big plus since I have one litter box in the living room for an elderly cat who can't climb stairs. The litter scent totally masks any litter odor even when the box has been freshly used so to speak. Much better than any other scented litter I've tried.Clumping performance is quite good. My only quibble is that it seems to be more easily tracked out of the box than my usual brand. If you don't like strong scents this is not a good choice.
Ultra Stink When both my cats and I hate a cat litter it's a clear sign to never buy it again. I bought two boxes so we have endured the unpleasantness for far too long. One part of the claim is true you will not smell any odor of cat urine or fecal matter. But from my perspective the smell that replaces it is even worse. There is a pineyperfumey smell that floats through the house sticks in my throat and is really horrible. If you do not have any scent sensitivity and hate the smell of cat urine so much you'd rather have any smell in its place this might work for you. But I'm almost ready to toss the rest of the box and start over with something else.
Fantastic stuff! We have three adult cats one of which is 12 years old and up until we started using Ultra Last we'd been using A&H Multi Cat in two litter boxes. It was OK but after a few days you could really smell it especially the urine even with daily scoopings. Any of you with multiple cats especially elderly ones will know exactly what I'm talking about here. This new litter was on display at Target so I decided to give it a shot and it made an immediate and huge difference Suddenly that awful litter box smell was gone and because of the baking soda it absorbed everything making completely emptying and cleaning the boxes much more bearable. Yes there is a large amount of baking soda so if that smell bothers you this may not be the little for you but I much prefer that smell to the alternative. And another reviewer is somewhat correct in that you do end up scooping out a lot of litter which uses it up faster although I don't think you use it that much faster but again the odor control is well worth it.And just for comparison we had one more box of Multi Cat that I decided to use between boxes of Ultra Last just to get rid of it. Both I and my wife could almost immediately tell the difference and she remarked that she never realized how much difference the new litter had made until we switched back to the old stuff.
Makes the whole house stink This cat litter smells horrible! It's a cross between menthol and ammonia. It makes my whole house stink. When ever I return home I need to open the windows and turn on the fan to get rid of the smell. The front of the box doesn't mention Scented anywhere so we didn't know this stuff was scented when we bought it. On the back of the box the description vaguely says Fresh scent which to me means baking soda.
Totally unsatisfactory I am a longtime user of Arm & Hammer products both for my pets and in household applications. So when I saw that Arm & Hammer had a new cat litter I decided to give it a try. That was my mistake.Ultra Last is the poorest cat litter I have ever used of any brand not just Arm & Hammer. It has no clumping ability whatsoever and it turns a litter box into an ammoniascented mud wallow. I will be switching back to Arm & Hammer Double Duty cat litter immediately.Don't waste your money on this product. It will probably do alright as dead weight in the trunk for winter driving but as a cat litter it's useless.
STINKS! Ughhh! I'm so disappointed in this litter. After the first night it smelled like I already needed to change the kitty litter. Had a really strong ammonia smell. Like the other reviewers say it doesn't clump well either. And where I live it was about $7 more dollars then the A&M Double Duty which I usually use. Honesty I wouldn't even waste your money on this litter.
