Arm Hammer Alert Clumping Litter It "alerts" all right...

Arm & Hammer Odor Alert Clumping Litter - 12 lb

  • 12-lb box

  • Strong artificial scent This product has a strong artificial scent that permeated several rooms of our house. I personally found it nauseating. No one here liked the odor. In my opinion it was worse than a dirty cat box.I'll go back to my old standby of Arm&Hammer Unscented. If you like strong artificial scents you might not mind it.
Odor Be Gone Our newest addition a crazy with socalled crazy eyes meant some new purchases as well. Since I haven't owned a cat in years and have never owned one by myself I solicited some advice about products. I opted to go with Arm and Hammer Odor Alert because it has a friendly price and was a trusted name.It seemed interesting with crystal which turn colour when wet to alert you to the clumps hence the name Odor Alert. I haven't been knocked off my feet by this feature yet. Although the crystals are easy to identify they seem to be easily triggered. As we keep the litter box in the bathroom near the shower where moisture runs rampant I think the crystals tend to change colour because of that. In retrospect I should have thought about that when buying Arm and Hammer Odor Alert cat litter. But so should they when making it. Bathrooms are a popular place for litter boxes. My other beef with the colour changing crystals in this cat litter is that sometimes they don't alert you to clumps. Sometimes they are wet but don't clump. I think that this cat litter clumps decently so it's just an issue of the crystals turning colour prematurely. Needless to say I've never actually used the blue crystals to my advantage when scooping out the litter. Many people seem to be offended by the scent of this cat litter. I cannot say the Odor Alert is odorless but it doesn't phase me. It simply smells a little fruity or flowery like many cat litters and when mixed with the scent of cat matter it isn't wonderful but it won't kill me either. You can tell when a cat has used the potty because it 'increases' the scent. In the future I may try and odorless litter instead.I am happy to say that my kitty had no adverse reaction to Odor Alert cat litter by Arm and Hammer. We did buy a litter box mat because my cat does track some of the litter into the bathroom and when wet it sort of melts into the floor and takes a lot of scrubbing to get off.
It Stinks! We have been using Arm & Hammer MultiCat and other Arm & Hammer cat litters for years and we absolutely love them. However when we moved to NYC the only Arm & Hammer litter we found in nearby stores was the Odor Alert version which we had not tried before. We bought it and figured that it would be fine given our previous experience with the Arm & Hammer brand. However once we started using it we realized that it smells absolutely horrible. It is VERY odoriferous and honestly the one thing that comes to mind when I smell it is fruity vomit. The colorchanging technology doesn't appear to us to be anything impressive and certainly nothing to justify living with the smell. It clumps well and does the job but I will not be using it ever again due to the horrible odor.
Stay Away. I use Fresh Step clumping litter for my cat until we ran out one day and my wife picked up Arm and Hammer litter at convenience store. It does not clump nearly as well absorb odors nearly as well and costs much more than Fresh Step scoopable car litter. It's a day and night difference. Stay away from Arm and Hammer.
It alerts all right We've been trying new litters in our rolling boxes to find one that clumps well and controls odor without too much artificial scent as I am allergic to the heavy fragrances. We're never buying Odor Alert again. The entire box goes blue within one use. While there is no overpowering fragrance it's as if there is no odor control within the litter at all. Instead I get this nasty worse than full litter box stench that wafts up my stairs if the box is not cleaned twice a day and more clean litter added to the box. It is so bad I do not need to see the inside of the box in order to know it needs to be cleaned. We will continue on our quest to find a good litter. This one however is not it.

Swheat Scoop Multi Natural Litter Love Swheat Scoop!!

Swheat Scoop Multi Cat Natural Wheat Cat Litter, 25 Pound Bag Read more...

  • Guaranteed Odor Free
  • Biodegradable
  • Clumping Scoopable

  • holy grail of litter We love cats and have always had three adult cats in our home or apartment. We've used pretty much every brand of litter on the market usually whatever happens to be on sale. One day I found a box of Swheat Scoop on sale so I bought it. I have not smelled a hint of anything since we started using it two weeks ago. Additionally the cats seem to like it better. I can't fully explain what I mean by that maybe they find the clumps of wheat less offensive than clumps of other brands if that makes any sense. They just generally seem to hang out in there longer and sometimes I swear I catch them smiling upon exit. The only small con is that it tends to clump too much at the bottom of the box so it takes a little extra work cleaning the boxes. However because this litter eliminates odor completely somehow magically we're Swheat Scoopers 4 life. I am SO happy we found this litter.
No litter is perfect but this is the best Pros1. Better odor containment and neutralization than virtually any other litter I've ever tried no gross perfumey smell.2. Low tracking compared to most litters especially clay litters.3. Lower dust than clay still some but not as much.4. Better for the environment no clay strip mining no toxic additives and for your cats' health.5. Lighter weight than clay for easier lugging from the store to home.6. Price is good $6.50 for 12.3 lbs at my grocery store especially when you remember that you can't do a pound by pound comparison to clay clay is heavier by volume.7. Coupons for every 12 you can send in proof of purchase clippings that get you a free box/bag in whatever size you buy it and they also send some $1 off coupons as a bonus.8. Excellent customer service. It's a small company in Detroit that just makes litter and they will talk to you oneonone and help you in any way they can.9. From the last point it's made in the USA.10.
Decent ecofriendly litter I've tried almost every kind of litter out there for my cat but this one tracks the most. The little wheat pieces stick onto his feet and scatter everywhere. But it is ecofriendly and flushable which is important to me. I wouldn't call the odor control quite as good as the clay litters but it does clump up nicely. We've gone through a few bags and plan to continue since as another reviewer said the pros outweigh the cons.
not great I have two cats who had no trouble with using the litter we have two litterboxes and I only mixed this into one but the stuff is lousy odor control and needs to be dumped after two days and that's not going to work. The cats used it for two days and then abandoned the box for the old litter & I couldn't argue with the. I clean the boxes daily yet Seriously it smelled so strongly of ammonia well it made my eyes burn and I found that totally unacceptable.
My favorite cat litter and I've tried em all. I love that this litter does not have anythat I can detect smell. It does have just a little dust clumps beautifully. Lasts just as long as the smelly litters.
Bug Heaven Noooo! Don't use this stuff if your home is prone to pests! We recently had a HUGE problem with pantry mothsin our closet where we kept the cat box. Pantry moths do in fact eat wheat. After WEEKS of moth traps a new litter box and DEFINITELY new litter we finally got rid of our infestation.
Love Swheat Scoop!! After trying many many brands of kitty litter I finally found one that is environmentally friendly and pretty affordable! I used to use Fresh Step but HATED the amount of dust that got everywhere. It's disgusting. Just pouring the litter into the box you choke on all the dust it creates and it leaves a solid layer of black grime on everything. After reading many reviews I chose Swheat Scoop because you can flush it. After using it for about 2 weeks I am definitely in love! There is NO DUST!!!!! My cat is sooo much happier not having to breath in the dust every time she goes to the bathroom. I found that is clumps fairly well considering it is completely natural. I do wish that there was a stronger scent to cover the ammonia smell which is why I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 but I think if I add some baking soda it will help. I scoop my litter ever day and never had an issue with it sticking to the litter box. I heard Worlds Best smells better but after reading all the reviews about how dusty it is I won't try it. Swheat Scoop doesn't track nearly as much as clay litter does it's nice to not have to vacuum everyday.I totally suggest you try Swheat Scoop you wont be disappointed!!Plus they come with coupons so you can get a bag free after collecting 12 of them.
Worked great for years but now I'm bugged I've been using Swheat Scoop for the past seven years and have been a big fan of it. It clumps well controls odors isn't excessively dusty doesn't cling to my cats' paws like cement and doesn't aggravate my cats' breathing problems.A few days ago I opened up a fresh package of Swheat Scoop Multi Cat poured it into the litter box and was horrified to see that there were hundreds of small insects in it. Yes hundreds. Most of them were dead but I can't be certain that they were ALL dead so I immediately dumped this brand new litter into a garbage bag and threw it out. The LAST thing I need in my life right now is a bug infestation.I went to a different store and purchased another package of Swheat Scoop. Brought it home and had the exact same problem full of bugs.Swheat Scoop has a very firm statement on their web site about the bug issue claiming that there is no way the bugs can originate from the factory. Even if that's true the fact remains that I purchased two separate packages from two separate vendors who use two separate distributors and both were infested. To make matters worse the vast majority of pet supply stores and department stores will NOT give you a refund on cat litter purchases unless the package is unopened. I learned this the hard way unfortunately.I've always loved this product and I've convinced many friends to switch to it. I've given Swheat Scoop a lot of new customers not to mention the thousands of dollars I've spent on it over the past seven years but now I find myself looking for a new litter.
Best. Cat Litter. Ever. I picked up a box of Swheat Scoop in the grocery store one day on a whim. It was on sale for almost half the price of my usual litter so I just shrugged and plunked it in my cart. I didn't even need litter that day. Best impulse buy I EVER made. I live with roommates so I have to keep my cat's litterbox wedged in a tiny closet in my bathroom where smells tend to collect and never go away remove the source of the smell it will still linger for days. I tried EVERYTHING to stop this from happening but about a month after I moved in the smell had begun to spill over into my bathroom and soon the entire master suite smelled permenantly of litter. Within a week of switching to Swheat Scoop the smell began to dissipate and is now only a distant memory so is the dusty mess of clay litter.
TOO TASTY FOR DOGS Not a good choice if you have dogs at home. My dog has always grabbed a snack or 2 from the litter box if she gets an opportunity but when I put the swheat scoop in she devoured the clean litter. Ate so much she made herself sick.

  • Chemical free and safe for your cat
  • Designed for multiple cat homes
  • Nett weight 10.2 pounds per bag
  • No dust and no tracking
  • Neutralizes odor naturally

  • Useless Picked up a bag of this on recommendation from the lady at our neighborhood pet store. This litter consists of large sawdust pellets that are too big to fall through the scooper and as soon as they get wet they disintegrate into damp sawdust that smells rather piny and neutral but is impossible to scoop because it doesn't clump whatsoever. This is the opposite of how I want my litter to act. The dirty stuff falls through the scoop while the clean stuff gets stuck in it?I don't think my cats like the damp sawdust either. They ended up peeing on their bed even though this litter was clean.I'll be going back to my nicesmelling cornbased litter that actually acts like proper litter.
Bad product. I bought this because it is a green product. However it was more trouble then it worth. It's hard to scoop needs frequent changing it tracks worse around the house and it does nothing to control the cat smell issue.
Works for me combined with a clumping litter After much trialanderror with natural litters I found that Feline Pine doesn't work at all for my cats by itself. However I've been using it in combination with a natural clumping litter for a couple of months now and it has been satisfactory though I'm not really sure if the Feline Pine is much of an improvement over the clumping litter alone. When my experiment with World's Best Cat Litter utterly failed on all counts hated the smell clumping was terrible cats didn't like it I moved on to Nature's Miracle clumping cornbased litter but it tracked everywhere in the house. Since the cats adapted well to a complete changeover from WBCL to NM without problems I started a brand new box with Feline Pine alone. That was a mistake. My cats were utterly confused by the texture resulting in one refusing to use the box entirely. The other cat went in the box but didn't cover her mess. So I dumped the box and started again with 1 of Feline Pine on the bottom and 2 of Nature's Miracle on the top as the Feline Pine bag suggests. The cats gradually mix it up as they dig and what doesn't get clumped up in the Nature's Miracle gets absorbed by the Feline Pine so it seems to be a good combination for odor control though my husband says he can smell it. I end up scooping 1x to 2x a day and top off the box with the Nature's Miracle so there's always a good 23 of litter at all times. After two weeks which is about when all of the Feline Pine pellets have dissolved into sawdust I dump the box scrub and sanitize it and start over.To be honest I'm not sure that the odor control or tracking is any better with the combination of the two litters than with Nature's Miracle alone.
OVERPRICED HORSE BEDDING. This is the same exact thing as horse bedding. From a feed shop you can get a 3040 lb bag of wood pellets aka Feline Pine for 7 dollars.
Use it right & this stuff rocks! Feline Pine Original disintegrating pellets is best used with a sifting sandbox 2 piece [] The VanNess brand seems to have holes too big which let Feline Pine pellets through. It may be designed for sifting out poops. The bottom piece is a standard litter pan. The top piece has a sort of gratelike bottom which allows the used/disintegrated sawdust to filter through into the solid bottom box where it collects away from the fresh litter and kitty's paws. When liquid does go straight through it is absorbed by the sawdust underneath and can be scooped out to further eliminate odor I use a plastic spoon. After a bit of maintenance tedium through the change from another style of litter my cat is happy & healthy there is no litterbox odor and we have nothing to do with the stripmining & landfilling of traditional clay litter.
Best Cat Litter! I have two cats so I really needed a litter that would control odor and I wanted something safe for my kitties and the environment. Feline Pine is the BEST litter I could find by far. Even if you are not interested in being environmentally friendly this is a great litter. It took a little while for one of my cats to get used to it. At first I switched them completely over and one of my kitties started going outside the box. I went back to the old litter and started gradually mixing the pellets in for about two weeks. Now both my cats use only the Feline Pine without any problems. It completely masks the smell of urine and is pretty good at masking the smell of poop. It lasts awhile too since you really only have to scoop the solid waste until the pellets turn to sawdust.I had previously tried Nature's Miracle and World's Best Cat Litter. Neither of them dealt well with odor. Nature's miracle clumped nicely but it smelled soo bad! It stunk up our whole house. The WBCL had a slightly less offensive smell but the clumping capabilities were not as good as NM. Feline Pine doesn't clump but it doesn't need to since you don't scoop out the urine. With some litters like WBCL urine seeps to the bottom of the pan and creates a sticky smelly residue but with Feline Pine the urine doesn't even get to the bottom of the pan since it is absorbed immediately by the pellets. It's just a really great litter and it's not as expensive as a lot of other natural brands.
Feline Pine Cat liter When I could not find this product in the grocery stores I was glad to find that Amazon.com had it available. I recently stocked up on this brand of liter. I find this product suits me well and my cat does not have any problem with it as well. This product does not have a bad smell is easy to clean up. I know where to get my supply if I need more. Thank you Aamzon.
Cat Litter I love this stuff. It works so well and is so much better for the environment than traditional litters. It even helps with smells naturally.
Amazing product! This is by far the best cat litter! My 18 week old cat loves it. I originally selected this litter because it was nonclumping. Sheba is learning to use the Litter Kwitter toilet training system which requires nonclumping litter. She will not kick this litter out of the toilet tray and there is absolutely no smell associated with the pellets. It's great! I highly suggest it to anyone using the toilet training systems as well.
Good Idea. This product is a good idea but unfortunately it did not work out well for myself or my cats. I take in feral kittens and I love our planet so I was trying to do a 2 for 1 with this litter. Figured these cats would like to do their business on something more 'Earthy' since that is what they would be used to. Wrong. They used it once. It smelled and they never used it again. Pellets cannot be 'reused' like carbon litter can. Once these get pee'd on its all over seems like it would get expensive and smell after a while.I really really wanted to like this I really wanted to use it but I just could not. I give it 3 stars cuz it least it is a good idea and if I run out of litter I will use whats left in my closet.

  • Really is the Best I am not a Disappointed Purchaser. I clicked 5 stars. Hmmm. This is a great product. I wouldn't go back to using clay litter for all of the tea in China.*Clumps extremely well*No wet cement residue left on bottom or sides of box or on the floor*Can be flushed down the toilet have been doing so for over three years now. I DO NOT MISS stinky can I used to collect the waste in.*Very light weighteasy to move a box around when necessary*One problem is that if you add clean litter to the top the bottom litter breaks down into a powdery substance that is then tracked. I wash out the boxes every couple of weeks and solved about 99% of this by first pouring a fresh batch of litter in the clean box and added the previous litter on top where it is scooped out first.*It is a bit on the expensive side but does last quite a while as the clumping ability is so excellent that not a piece of litter is wasted.
My cat decided the world's worst I picked this up when it was on sale at Target. Bag did not look like the yellow bag now depicted here. They were selling black with green or red.I mixed this in with my cat's usual scented powdery everavailable litter. He used it fine at first. Tried to move over to just this litter gradually. Then he began to have more and more accidents outside the box. Then the more I cleaned his box the more accidents he had.I do not always clean out his box daily but that was NEVER a problem up until I bought this litter. It smells if not cleaned daily. And the cat started to go elsewhere. Then even when cleaned he avoided it much of the time. I began to lurk around the box to see if he would use it and it was upsetting to see it had hardly been touched.Have just replaced it with his old which is irritating to my sinuses but much more irritating to have to detect obnoxious cat accidents throughout the house.
Really is the best! This really is the world's best cat litter. I love that it is flushable since the litter box is located in the bathroom at my house. It clumps about like the claybased littersnone are perfect. I was looking for something more environmentally friendly since the clay for other litters has to be mined look that up for some interesting reading. There is some dust but not as much as the clay litters and this is not as dirty as that dust is anyway. I don't find my cats tracking it all over the house but they did track the dust from the last clay litter I tried. I agree with others that the price works out about the same. When I switched litters I mixed both kinds together & it worked out fine. The only thing I can think of that would be better is having the cats use the toilet and I'm thinking about getting one of those kits to teach them how!.
Truly IS world's best! My 14 year old lady kitty has idiopathic polyuria meaning she pees a LOTmeaning taking a five or six pound bag of used saturated clumped litter out to the trash dailywearying for this 2nd storydwelling little old lady.
pleases the Katia Love this litter because it works well without leaving dust everywhere.Seems to be highly absorbitant. It does track out of the box some but Katia is a siberian forest cat with tufted feet so no getting around the tracking. Good product.
Really is the best I've used a few different brands and this is definitely the best I've come across. It clumps incredibly well and is easy to clean up. The one cat didn't like it at first but after slowly mixing in larger and larger amounts of this brand she switched over and hasn't had issues since.
Only litter I will buy I was skeptical of the World's Best name but really this is the only litter that does not smell at all. It clumps well and traps the cat pee smell. I also love that it has no fake pine or wierd deodorant scent. It does have an odd musty sour corn smell but I only smell this when I am cleaning the litter box. My one complaint is that it does track quite a bit and the carpet I have in the room where the litterbox is has to be vacuumed constantly. But the carpet doesn't smell at all which is good.
My cat eats it! While it does definitely do a good job of eliminating the smell of urine if you have a cat who is an indiscriminate nibbler keep and eye on her when you try this stuff.
can't cover bad smell!! It smell nature by itself but can't cover the pee and poo's smell at all. We even not finish this package.
so far not good Day 1 I just emptied out the cat box and refilled it with my first purchase of World's Best Cat Litter multiple cat formula clumping litter. So far I am not at all happy. The smell is horrible like stinky old tobacco. And my girl kitty started eating it right off the bat. I'm going to give it a day or two before I make up my mind but I am not pleased with the first impression and I'm not comfortable leaving my cats unsupervised with it until I see how the snacking situation goes. Tasty cat litter is the last thing on earth I want to worry about hurting my cats so I'm a little miffed right now.Day 2 in less than 24 hours I bagged up all the litter and threw it in the garbage. This is the WORLD'S WORST LITTER. My mom came over for a visit and said my house smelled like a garbage can full of rotten corn husks. Not to mention she has allergies and the corn husky smell made her cough and wheeze.

Green Tea Leaves Clumping Litter Great for odor control

Green Tea Leaves Clumping Cat Litter, 10L bag
Green Tea Leaves Clumping Cat Litter, 10L bag Read more...

  • 10-liter bag

  • Odor free and Flushable! My cats adapted well to this litter after rejecting anything made of corn. I have a septic tank and I live in Africa where garbage disposal is an issue. I must have flushable litter.I find it a bit dusty but that is not a big deal as my cats are not asthmatic. It tracks and as someone noted the big granules look like you have dumped granola on the floor. However I find that it tracks only in a small area around the litter boxes. Perhaps this is because I put a rubber mesh carpet underpad under and next to my litter boxes and this helps trap the scatter. The pellets of litter are very lightweight a plus for me in transport but they are soft and my cats do not mind stepping on this litter. It takes a bit of care while scooping as the clumps that form are soft and fragile. I don't mind but it might drive another person nuts. The main issuesodor control cat acceptance and flushabilityare fully met by this product. And for my esthetic sensibilities I rather like the green tea scent and I love that it is 100% recycled.
Does Not Live Up to Expectation I had high hopes for this litter after having it highly recommended from a local pet store. The plus was that it was super light and the bag claimed that 10 liters was to last a single cat a month! I happily cleaned out the old litter and replaced it with the green tea leaves and found that in actuality the odor control was not that great. We have a small apartment and must keep the litter box in the foyer so if the box is not fresh you smell it immediately upon entering. While it seemed to do pretty well with concealing urine smells it took many hours like 46 before the poop smell was absorbed. I resorted to pouring baking soda in the box everyday even after cleaning it and it still smelled bad. Also while it claims to be low tracking we still found these large pellets all over the house. This bag that was claimed to last a month ended up lasting less then two weekswe are moving on to the next litter.
Green Tea Leaves Cat Litter Inspite of the steep price of this cat litter it is well worth buying but unfortunately it hardly lasts longer than one month.
Great odor control makes me a lazy litter cleaner After finding out about the environmental impacts of mining to extract the materials for regular cat litter which also just piles up landfills and does NOT decompose I began trying natural litters. I have tried every single natural litter that is sold in pet stores that I've ever seen Feline Pine World's Best Nature's Miracle Yesterday's News cornbased clumping and non etc.. I've also used a variety of nonbioderadable litters in the past such as crystals ones with baking powder and more. This is by far the most superior and the urine odor control beats all types the only caveat is that it is not perfumed like some regular litters so if that strong and awful IMHO perfumed litter smell is your preference you won't get it here.It also does not clump AS hard as some regular litters but it does clump just fine. Just don't shake the scoop too vigorously when sifting the clumps. The tradeoff if you choose smallergrained natural litters which sometimes clumps tighter is a LOT more tracking. This litter tracks very little because the large pellets are less likely to get stuck in their paws. Yet the pellets dissolve with moisture and thus are able to break apart & coagulate to do their job. Just get a widerslatted scoop if you are having trouble with the litter pellets not sifting through. I even use this litter with a semi selfcleaning litterbox the Omega Paw and it works just fine. I struggle to find this litter in stores and recommend that you purchase locally if you can find it thankfully you can buy it online in a pinch.PROs1 Less tracking than your average litter2 Almost no dust3 Safe for kitty's lungs and digestive system4 Fantastic odor control thus less frequent scooping required5 Clumping!6 Lasts a very long time offsetting litter cost7 Very lightweight & easy to carry8 Smells nice9 Biodegradable but try to use BioBags for the waste the compost bin size works greatCONs1 Can be hard to find more likely to be at your local independent pet store which is better than a nationwide chain anyway2 Not eligible for Amazon Prime3 Not as tightly clumping as regular litter4 Plastic packaging is not recyclable or biodegradableBottom line I'm very picky about litter and tend to try every option before claiming loyalty to one product if ever. This product is on my short list.
Great for odor control This is a pricey litter but so worth it. Number one I have 4 cats and the litter does not stink like pee. I change the litter 2x a day. If I am not home 1x a day. And it's not a disaster smell like other litters.1 bag of these lasted me for 2.5 weeks. I am very content.
    little dust
Disappointing Mess Sorry to dash anybody's hopes here. I know the reviews are pretty glowing but that does not match my experience. This litter is not good. The chunks are huge which not only seemed to make it hard for my cats to use but looked disturbingly like granola when tracked all over the room. And track it does like crazy. Which defeated my reason for buying it. Thankfully on a tip I switched to
Absolutely OdorFree Since I first used this product I won't use any other brand. It seems my local pet and grocery stores can't keep it in stock so I just order it every month through Amazon. This product doesn't try to mask catbox odors with equally bad floral odors. Instead the real green tea used in this product seems to absorb the bad odors leaving no odor at all. What a relief.
I tried everything and this one is the lowest odor and tracking I hate poo. I really hate smelling it from litter boxes. I tried all types of the natural litters except the cedar kind how it clumps worried me I will not use clay because of the health risks to my cats. Green tea litter works the best! My house no longer smells like cats live there it also has very minimal tracking I use the modKat litter box. I absolutely love it I was so frustrated with finding the right litter until I stumbled onto this one.I try to scoop the litter boxes daily longest I go is 2 days but only when I'm ridiculously busyPROSclumps welllow no odortracks very littleflushable but not in large quantitiesLight enough to walk home from the store withdoesn't stick to my cats furCONSsometimes my cats bat around a pellet or two on the floordusty out of the bag and while scoopingOTHER BRANDS*The Sweatscoop litter tracked everywhere and attracted little bugs I noticed them mainly in new boxes! Urine would cause big clumps to stick to the bottom of the litter pan and scraping them off incited terror that chunks would fly up and hit me in the face I had to use so much force that yes chunks occasionally would fly it was gross*The corn worlds best litter smelled so weird right out of the bag that I could not put up with it for more than a day! It clumped well but tracked everywhere because it was so light and also would get all over my kittens fur not cool. The smell is the worst part thoughThe memory of it still makes me cringe when I think about it.*Good mews recycled paper smelled horrible out of the bag was heavy looked gross in the box and was not flushable. It only started to smell worse once my cats used it.
Green Tea Litter Works really well with clumping and eliminating odorReally like it. Actually smells like green tea near the litter box. On the down side it is really light and scatters easily if you have a noncovered box. Hate the shipping cost. Have to find local retailer.

Good for urine not for poop. This litter is ok. Its literally hard little white balls of different sizes. Largest i think is the size of a lima bean. It soaks up the urine great. Since ive had it i havent smelled her urine. However because the granules are large and not like normal litter my cat has had a hard time covering up her poop. Now she just does her business and leaves it there. When she first tried she got like 23 granules to stick before she gave up. It was like looking at those large pretzels with 34 salt granules on it. Good try but it didnt work.So now the only smells i get from her box are from her poop. To top that off you cant use your basic litter shovel. The way the spaces are in the shovels the graanules are too large to fall through so you find yourself delicately picking up sparsely speckled poop and dark colored granules from where you think they pee'd on.I think they should add a color activating agent in the litter so you know if they peed on it or if its just discoloration. Also i think consumers should buy this in conjunction with a basic cat litter so that the granules can asborb the urine and ammonia smell and the regular litter can coat and mask the poo smell. Also this litter doesnt work well with a sifter. Youll be sifting all day before one granule falls through lol. And if it wasnt obvious by the name it doesnt cause dust at all.

Fresh Step Multiple Cat Litter Works well.

Fresh Step Multiple Cat Litter, 28 Lb
Fresh Step Multiple Cat Litter, 28 Lb Read more...

Works well. Product works well. Cats seem happy to have it. Would recommend to others even though I haven't personally used it.
Three indoor cats We have three cats. One litter box. It works very well to keep the odor down. There is some dust residue when adding new litter. I have found others to be worse. My only complaint would be it is hard to get the plastic cover off.
Lid extremely hard to remove!! I've used Fresh Step before and the litter is worth five stars but this is my first and last 28 pound container. I've been working on the lid with vise grips and am now going to pry the remainder off with a screwdriver. No I am not kidding. There is a pull tab which is supposed to remove a strip all around the lid. Had to use the vise grips to pull it and then the strip broke on both sides.
NOT SCOOPABLE!!!! This kitty litter is the worse nightmare!!. It is next to impossible to clean the box as the product turns into a gluey cement which sticks to the box and refuses to be picked up even when you forcibly try to dislodge it with the plastic scoop. My cats refused to go back to the litter as it leaves a guey mess on their paws. After removing as much as I could from the box I filled the box with hot water + pine sol and I still had to work at it . I finally threw the box away in the trash as I was reluctant to put that mess in my toilet for fear it would cause problems in the pipes. I have used other scoopable products but never had that problem. I would rather go back to regular old fashion clay litter any day.
Only Litter I Buy I have 2 cats that share 1 box. I have tried every product on the market and for the past few years have used this product exclusively. It clumps whereas other brands tended to crumble. It keeps odors at bay quite well.
Excellent Odor Control I've tried a lot of different cat litters and this one has excellent odor control for multiple cat households. Also I've never had any problems removing the tab. All that you have to do is to grasp the tab with a pair of pliers and it peels off easily.

Tidy Cats Premium Multiple Litter RECOMMENDED BY AN OCD CLEAN FREAK

Tidy Cats Premium Scoop Small Spaces for Multiple Cats Cat Litter
Tidy Cats Premium Scoop Small Spaces for Multiple Cats Cat Litter Read more...

  • 20-lb jug

  • The best odor control litter on the market. I've tried quite a few varieties of cat litter. Clumping non clumping clay corn wheat crystal odor control you name it. This is the best odorcontrolling litter out of all that I've tried including Tidy Cats Scoop Crystals blend and crystal types of cat litter. Not sure what deodorizers they put in the clay but they're very potent. If odor control is your #1 priority as it often is in small apartments hence the name this is your litter. My cats also seem to have no complaints with this litter. The litter itself clumps well comes in a nicely shaped container for easy pouring and is not very dusty as the clay grains seem pretty solid. Unfortunately it does track and it tracks quite a bit. Get a good large litter mat and prepare to vaccuum a lot.
Doesn't Clump This litter is lousy! Urine doesn't clump and instead goes to the bottom of the litter box and sticks to the sides. Then breaks apart and mixes with the clean litter when you try to scoop it up. It also reeks a strong ammonia smell when scoping it out.
Worst. Litter. Ever. Whoever said this smelled like rotten oranges after the first poop is completely correct. This litter is terrible. I think the main problem is that it doesn't dry out the poop so the smell lingers and mixes with the orange scent to create a horrific odor. Even scooping the litter box twice a day is not enough and each time is an ordeal as you're forced to face the powerful odor up close. Worse yet it tracks like crazy. The only one positive this litter has is that there is no dust storm created when pouring into a litter box. I switched to Fresh Step Scoopable MultiCat which does create a dust storm but it's 100% better at controlling odor since it does dry out poop. After trying a slew of different cat litters I think I'll stick with that one. Odor is a huge issue for a small 1BR apartment and Tidy Cat Small Spaces does NOT live up to its name.
RECOMMENDED BY AN OCD CLEAN FREAK I absolutely love this litter. I have tried many other types of litter and even World's Best litter didn't compare to how well this works. This litter controls odors extremely well. I detest the smell of a cat box and there's nothing worse than walking into someone's house and smelling that nasty poop odor. It was imperative for me a clean freak to have the best litter for odor control and cleanliness. This litter has done what it says it would do. I have never smelled urine or feces from my cat's box just a smell of oranges. Yes the orange smell is a bit cloying but it beats the alternative hands down. I have never noticed dust.
Absolutely vile scent I have two indoor cats who eat a lowresidue diet and I scoop the litter daily so there's never much waste in the cat box to begin with. I agree with others who say that it is great at deodorizing litter box odors I haven't smelled cat waste since I started using this. However I won't be purchasing the product again because the deodorant in the litter smells absolutely disgusting. The best way I can describe it is overripe or rotting fruit to me there is nothing fresh or natural in the odor just a cloying overly sweet chemical smell kind of like when oranges go moldy. Not only is the scent very bad it is also very strong. I keep the litter box in the downstairs bathroom and I can smell the litter throughout the entire house. I just poured the last of the litter into the cat box tonight and am looking forward to buying my regular litter again this weekend it doesn't contol cat waste odors as well but frankly cat waste smells less offensive than this stuff.
The best litter on the market. I have been using this brand of litter for 13+ years. Once for two cats and now for just one. I currently live in an apartment and purchased the small spaces and it does wonderfully. It has a very light watermelon type scent and it clumps perfectly every time. After my cat goes number one or two covers it up and then steps in it every blasted time! it still does not stick to his little paws. It really keeps down the smell.
Many cats and litter works I bought the Tidy Cats Small Space just to try it. The first thing I noticed was the orange smell to me it was not overwhelming. I have 6 cats and have used every kind of litter made. I do a litter change every 710 days and the litter will keep the urine and feces smell in check even at the end of the change cycle. I have one cat who has really smelly poops and this is the only litter that works for her. My friend who takes care of my cats when I am out of town even asked what kind of litter I had switched to as she really noticed a difference when she cleaned the boxes. She has now switched and is also pleased. I have used this litter for over a year now. My only wish is that is that it clumped as tight as Scoop Away it is not as good as that brand in the clumping respect but I have to say it does clump better than many other brands. I can not tell any difference in the tracking amount from any other litter I have used.
Best cat litter we have tried Just had to say we have 7 cats and have tried every kind of litter. We love this one for small spaces. The granules are big enough it does not track beyond the rug in front of the box and I never smell anything which is amazing! It scoops so easy you don't really have to shake the litter spoon the clean litter just falls through the slots. Lot less work and seems to last longer than what we have tried. We used litters made of corn like Fresh Results Arm and Hammer natural which are so light they track all over the house and onto our bed etc. The smell was still there too. The world's best cat litter was heavier like clay so didn't track as much at all but smelled awful all the time and tended to break down into powder which settled all over the counter and floor near the box. We originally changed from using clay because of the dust but this Tidy Cats for small places isn't dusty at all. Thought the cost was high but actually works out to about the same or little less than the others we have used because they didn't last as long and you didn't get as much with them so we always had to purchase two containers of them.
This is the worst of cat litters even when it is brand new and fresh the smell is putrid and noxious!!! This is the worst cat litter I have ever tried. I just bought on Monday and washed out the litter box and filled with Tidy cat small spaces. The next morning my entire bedroom smelled like a foul citrusy dirty cat box even though the box was fresh. The smell is nauseating and so strong I had to move the box outside into the living room just to be able to sleep. I will never repurchase and have to wash and throw away all the entire new box in just 3 days of useage.
Clumps Start To Break Apart A few months ago I decided to do my own independent testing of major clumping litters in search of one that would work best for my cats.Methodology2 cats4 litter boxes1 month with daily scooping.Products tested avg 20lbs per litter boxTidy Cats Power BlendTidy Cats Instant ActionArm and Hammer Super Scoop Fresh Clean ScentScoop Away Fresh ScentResultsScoop Away won hands down at clumping even after a month.

Swheat Scoop Multi Natural Litter The best litter I have ever used, period.

Swheat Scoop Multi Cat Natural Wheat Cat Litter
  • 25-lb bag
  • The best litter I have ever used period. I've tried many different types of litter. I have three cats. This litter is the best. It's as simple as that. It fights smells better than any other litter and it does it naturally without fake perfumey smells trying to cover it up. It clumps perfectly. It flushes with NO problems whatsoever. I've been absolutely shocked by how much I am able to flush at a time without it clogging up my toilet at all. You just let it sit in the water for a few minutes before flushing and it starts to break down. The stuff is amazing plain and simple. One word of warning though watch out with dogs being allowed near it. Since it is made of wheat they may have a hard time realizing that it isn't supposed to be food.
NOT so flushable I bought this product thinking it would be a great alternative to clay litter. I live in a small apartment building and only have a 6 mo. kitten. I studiously cleaned out the litter once every two days and flushed it as the instructions state. Still this litter caused a major clog that backed up the toilet AND tub of the apartment below mine. Plumbers had to roto up to my apartment and down to the main sewage system for 4 hours to clear the numerous cementlike clogs that were caused by this litter. I emailed the company with my complaint and had the following response from Mark Hughes General ManagerI wanted to write so you knew that our litter cannot clog a pipe. If you want to see how it reacts in water just put some in a bowl of water. You will see that it does not stay clumped does not stay hard and cannot bind enough to clog a pipe. Wheat is biodegradable and will breakdown in water. I would bet your pipes are plugged from clay litters which are not biodegradable and will clog a pipe.Since I've never used clay litter and Mr. Hughes could not have known one way or the other in the first place I have to say that not only is the product not as advertised but the customer service is also SERIOUSLY lacking. I will not be using this product at any time in the future.

Precious Cat Attract Problem Training AWESOME

Precious Cat Cat Attract Problem Cat Training Litter, 40 pound bag
  • 99.5% dust free
  • All natural
  • Hard clumping
  • Great training litter
  • Superior odor control
  • Unbelievable We recently rescued a couple of 8 week old kittens from a farm before the strong midwest winter hit. One kitten had no issue transitioning to the litter box the other one was indiscriminate in where she went. After doing a bit of online searching we stumbled upon Precious Cat Cat Attract and thought it was worth a try. My husband emptied out the old litter and poured this stuff in. Before he even had a chance to smooth it out the problem cat was in the box doing her business. We couldn't believe it.As we ran low on this kitty litter and had no more issues with the problem cat we decided to transition back to our old kitty litter. However she quickly started messing around the house again. I don't know what they put in this stuff but it worked wonders for our kittens. There really wasn't too much of a price difference between this and our previous litter so there's no going back for us.
If All Else Fails Try THIS We have a loving goofy dumbasdirt 11yearold cat who had gotten off his litter game. He'd had some issues we thought IBS it ended up diabetes from which he is now in remission thankfully and in the process he began to totally avoid the litter box instead opting to go on the floor just outside of it. This is a cat who we are not entirely sure remembers who WE are from day to day so retraining was not going to be an easy task. It was as if he'd forgotten he had EVER used a litter box. We tried a number of things changing litters changing boxes hood on hood off moving the boxes. We bought a Cat Genie hoping for the best and though he used it occasionally he just wouldn't commit. We provided several boxes as alternatives kept them all clean but no dice. The final solution was to put the box on a sacrificial bathmat on a washable floor and we would rotate and wash the bathmat every time he used them. Not a good permanent solution but it was the only way we thought to save our carpet and bedding. This amounted to about two years of attempting to find an answer.I typed 'problem cat' into the Amazon.com search window hoping for a miracle answer and Precious Cat Cat Attract shone like a beacon. Was it too good to be true?? Following advice from other reviewers we got a Wonder Box the Cat Attract sprinkles and a bag of the Cat Attract litter. All three of our cats were intensely interested in the new setup and we were hopeful. Within about 30 minutes someone used it and before the next morning we had proof positive that our problem kitty used it he eats a different food trust me we know!. In the following *six weeks* to present he has used it routinely had *absolutely no* accidents and he has again become brave enough to go when we or the other cats are nearby. He's gone from total litter box avoidance to potty exhibitionist! We fill the large Wonderbox with the litter scoop the contents 23 times per day and sprinkle the top with the cat attractant after each time we scoop.
Definitely works for my elderly cats I trusted the reviews and tried this and it works like a charm. I highly recommend it and the price is worth it.I have two lowlevel litter boxes because one of my cats hates higher walled boxes. So I tried this stuff in one box and the regular brand in another. Both my cats 14 and 15 years old used Cat Attract almost exclusively. My Siamese male is totally fastidious and he used to cry on the box then do the Siamese freak out run around the house afterward. That has almost stopped. I think he was trying to tell me he hated the old litter. My domestic shorthair female is heavy and she would go on the edge of the box to keep from touching the litter too much.
    AWESOME
AMAZING!!! Our cat has been peeing in the tub for weeks and a few times in other places around the house. She would NOT pee in her litter box. We took her to the vet to get her checked out and $200+ later they told us she was healthy and gave us a list of things to try. One of the suggestions was to try a new litter. I went to the store and saw Cat Attract. It was expensive but I was desperate so I bought it. Brought it home put it in the litter box and she's been going in there since! Now the only problem is that our other cat loves Cat Attract too and she would prefer to use the litter box with Cat Attract in it. Now I have to put Cat Attract in our other litter boxes. It's too expensive to fill all the boxes with this stuff but I'll definitely mix it with a regular litter to keep my cats happy and peeing where they ought to.Thanks Dr.
working so far We adopted a cat from the shelter who had litter box issues. She would go in her box fine for a couple weeks than decide to use the floor. Vet checked and perfectly healthy so we tried many things until I purchased this litter at a local pet store. I've been using it for 5 days and so far no accidentsthat I know of. Ofcourse I am still bringing her to her box 34 times a day. This litter is definetely worth a shot and we're hoping our cat starts using the box from now on.
Also attracts dogs. We adopted a new dog into the house and I was concerned that my cranky old lady cat would stress out and do a little vengeful rug soiling. I'm already a fan of Dr. Elsey's litters so I decided to try the Cat Attract and see if it would head off disaster. Well it works. My cat went in her litter box every time she expressed her outrage in other ways. Thing is the dog started going there as well. As long as the Cat Attract was in the litter box we couldn't get him to stop. So yeah. The product works. This might also be useful if you needs something to potty train a dog but in a mixed pet household you might experience some side effects.
Pure magic One of my cats has always been a problem. It took me months of trial and error to find food she would eat keep down and would not result in loose stools her pick is
Save your money This did not work for my cat the only good thing about this litter was that it is dust free.
Not as helpful as I thought I had high expectations for this litter since I had a friend who swore by it but even though we followed all the directions it didn't help keep one of our cats from peeing elsewhere. It worked about the same as regular litter.

99.5% dust free. All natural.Hard clumping.Great training litter.Superior odor control. Multi cat formulia, the first and only litter specifically designed to bring cats back to the litter box guaranteed. May be used in mechanical litter boxes and it controls odor natualy without perfume, deodorants or chemicals.

Feline Pine Scoop Litter 10 1 Pound Messiest litter ever!!!

Feline Pine Scoop Cat Litter, 10.1-Pound Box
  • Net quantity of 10.1 pounds
  • Made from renewable southern yellow pine and natural Guar Bean Gum; 100 percent natural
  • Fully absorbs liquid, just like thousands of tiny sponges
  • Chemical free and safe for your cat; no dust and no tracking
  • Naturally neutralizes strong odors on contact, leaving your home remarkably fresh
  • Hypoallergenic cat litter My cat had allergy problems for years till I started using this product.
GREAT LITTER but does track a lot Sorry for the long post. Here's my experience and a few tipsI have 3 precious cats. I used to have 6 cats and litter got to be quite expensive. I have been wanting to switch from clay litter to a more environmental cat and human friendly litter for a long time. I have asthma and allergies and I can't stand the synthetic perfumes they put in clay litter plus all the dust. It makes me want to gag. I'm also tired of constantly scooping sticky cementlike clay masses from the litter box carrying home heavy bags of litter from the store and cleaning up litter tracked all over my house. My cats like to pee either in the corners of the box or my male Persian will stick his but in the air and pee and it would go right over the litter box and get all over the floor. I didn't want to use a lid because of all the dust the litter generated. I had to buy storage containers from Walmart to use as litter boxes. These are great! They're clear taller than the average litter box and only $5. They do have to climb to get into them but for my elder I set something near it that she can jump on so it's easier for her to access it. I also considered purchasing a litter box enclosure to help reduce tracking. I've recently tried the SWheatScoop and loved it but my one cat started eating it. Plus if you have a moth problem they love grain litters. Ever since we got a Christmas tree we've had months. I've tried World's Best Cat Litter and liked that but it's cornbased again grain and fairly expensive.
Messiest litter ever!!! RUN AWAY!!! Unless you have a Roomba vacuum cleaner continually running in your home. I cannot figure out for the life in me how anyone can rate this litter as great! I just thought my cats tracked the clumping clay litter into the house this stuff is awful! My floors in my house looked like the floor of my grandfathers wood working shop and that was only after 1 day! I immediately dumped it and replaced with clumping clay again. I'm all about doing the best thing for the environment but I don't have a maid so I have to do what's best for me.
BE WARNED This stuff is so light and fluffy that it flies right out of the litter box with the slightest jostle you will find piles of it all around the box. And it tracks EVERYWHERE. It is also coated with some sticky substance called natural guar bean gum which does not clump anywhere near as strongly as clay the clumps fall apart as you scoop them. It also means that the little sawdust pieces that kitty tracks all over the house cannot be easily vacuumed out of rugs and fabric because they STICK to them. Not only that the sticky substance gets on my cat's paws and starts to make a candylike coating on the hardwood floor which resists wiping off.I'm disappointed because I am environmentallyminded and had high hopes but this is one of the worst products I've ever bought.
Great litter I love how light weight this litter is. It's easy to keep clean and vacuums up easily. I prefer it over the typical clumping litter.
Love the scent and environmental safety I know some are complaining about the tracking of the pine but you have to realize that the clay tracks as well you just don't see it. I have asthma and have found that it isn't aggrevated like it was by the clay dust. Like others have stated I put a towel under the box so I shake the excess back into the box and vacuum the floor once a week.
Feline Pine Scoop is the best cat litter I've used this for years with my three cats. It's terrifc litter no clay no chemicals just groundup pine. It stays fresh it's scoopable and a 10 pound box lasts two weeks with my crew.
Poor odor control product stinks after a week I purchased this litter because of the warnings about the health hazards of clumping clay litter especially with kittens. We have 4 pound female kitten and this litter failed to cover her litter box odor. We are feeding her Blue Buffalo Wilderness so her food is not at issue.Straight from the box it has a pleasant odor it looks feels and smells like sawdust. For the urine of a tiny female cat it worked just fine. Whenever she went #2 though the _whole house_ would smell just as bad as if she'd pooped on the floor. Even if she buried her business the feline pine would not cover up the smell.
Ridiculous Price for Terrific Litter I tried this litter first when it was on sale at my local grocery for %10 for the box and I was really impressed with how long it lasted must better than clay and clean. The trick to the clumping pine is scooping and replacing the fill with dry. I have a multiple cat household and for one or two kitties in one very large box it doesn't break down as fast but I have the mega Petmate litter box that I just for this and it's a favorite among most of my kitties.
Better alternative to clay clumping litter! I tried this because I was going through kitty litter constantly and the price was getting high for the clay clumping litter and I felt like so much was wasted as I cleaned the pans out every time in the clumps. Also was hoping to avoid all the lifting of heavy jugs since my kids help with caring for the litter pans at times. I am AMAZED at how well this litter clumps and covers odors!!! I really wasn't expecting it to do well with either thing and think it is so much better than clay in both areas.I love how light it is compared to clay as well. And love the pine scent of it. My cats use it and seem to like it just as much if not better than clay too which I was also concerned about. I have 2 litter pans and first switched only one over to be sure they used it before switching over the other one. As others have mentioned it tracks more easily out of the pan and around the house. But I am constantly vacuuming anyway so it isn't a problem for me. Also it takes a little longer to scoop with a regular kitty litter scoop because it sifts slower than clay. I haven't gotten one yet but notice others recommend a wider slotted scoop. I think the pros far outweigh the couple of cons I can mention. It is economical and has a rewards type program for collecting points from the boxes. It is better for the environment as well as your cats' and family's lungs. It is much easier to carry and pour. It lasts longer because less is used in the clumping than clay. It covers odors very well with it's light pine scent.
