Doesn't control urine odor at all! I tried this because it was lightweight but I hated it! It doesn't absorb odor very well at all and I threw out the rest of the bag. I've used the regular kind in a box and it's okay but not this stuff.
Smell is Overpowering! I decided to try this after using Swheat Scoop to see if it works just as well and I was curious about the odor neutralizing. It does clump as well as other natural litters but natural litters do not clump like clay litters. I consider it a trade off for the health of my cats. The scent is awful! My whole house smells like some fake flowery perfume. I do not want to smell cat litter good or bad. Swheat Scoop smells like wheat which is what it is made of. I don't think many cats want their litter to smell pretty. I currently have a sinus infection and am unable to smell or taste much but I can definitely smell this!I will not be purchasing this again unless they come out with an unscented version.
Disappointed Smells like damp hay tracks horribly and does not clump. In addition to cleaning the boxes more frequently I also have to sweep a large area around them twice a day and its really hard to get off the floor. I'll stick to the regular arm&hammer litter.
Horrible fake scent that takes over your house No where on the packaging does it say this litter is scented. Corn has no smell and baking soda has no smell. If it did I would not have purchased. My cats hate perfumed litter. Thankfully I kept their other box with Swheat in it. I am requesting a refund from the company.the litter smells even worse with urine and feces mixed in..I just threw it all out and I can still smell it in the house.
Misleading title I bought this to replace regular litter as I had heard that regular clay litter can be bad for cats. I tried Swheat Scoop which is fine just does not last too long. This is about the same as SWheat Scoop except that it is a little softer on their feet I think and there is some sort of overwhelming fragrance added. The smell of this stuff is so nasty and it does not cover up the poop smell it just blends with it. No where on the label does it say anything about a fragrance added. My cats run out of the litter box cabinet and have started coughing and sneezing. I think it is because of the nasty litter smell. This stuff also tracks quite a bit because it is so light and soft it stays on their feet.I thought I was doing them a favor by buying this but I think it is not good for them after all and I would suggest not wasting your money. It does not clump very well just kind of breaks apart. That would not be a big issue if it were not for the smell. So the pros are It is not clay which is probably not good for them and this litter is very soft on their feet.
Would give it zero stars if I could AWFUL! I'm an owner of three cats and have been doing rescue for two decades so I've tried more than a few brands of litter in my day. This was by far one of the worst. Sure there was no dust. However there was also no way in hell my cats were going to touch it a second time. Clumping? Yeah if by clumping Arm & Hammer meant will turn into soggy granules that will go everywhere BUT the box and your scoop. Skip this stuff.
Really good for odor. Okay I've tried EVERY cat litter on the market over the course of my 18 yearold cat's life. This one works great actually controls odor very well. I only notice smells after the box has been very active. It has a bit of a piney smell which some cats can object to so I mix this about half and half with
Terrible smell This product gets three stars for its clumping ability and because it is dustfree but the stench kept it from getting a higher ranking. I'm not sure what chemicals Arm & Hammer used but the smell is overpowering. Just opening the bag is enough to knock a person out. The natural smell of other litters is a lot better. I'd rather my house smell like wood chips than this chemical.
Not just for cats I have 2 rabbits that are boxed trained. It's light weight and the smell is either peppermint or eucalyptus and it's not overwhelming at all. Doesn't bother them or me. Besides that it doesn't smell up the place either it's more likely you'll smell it when you first take it from the bag. Better than dust or the alternative. Rabbit urine is thicker than cats I have never smelled it since working with this litter. I do clean their boxes daily but there's little hassle in that. Here's something consider you can always take the used litter back to the store if you absolutely hate it. For us we use every bit of it so consider giving it a shot.
Kitty likes it My cat has tried several litters. Sometimes he flings pieces of litter everywhere sometimes he sneezes a lot and sometimes he doesn't use the litter box at all. However will this litter I haven't had any problems. My cat likes it and so do I. It's a nice nonclay clumping litter with a pleasant smell. Some people do not like the scent but it doesn't bother me. One thing that I have always done is add a little baking soda to the litter which tones the scent done a little.

  • Guaranteed Odor Free
  • Biodegradable
  • Clumping Scoopable

  • holy grail of litter We love cats and have always had three adult cats in our home or apartment. We've used pretty much every brand of litter on the market usually whatever happens to be on sale. One day I found a box of Swheat Scoop on sale so I bought it. I have not smelled a hint of anything since we started using it two weeks ago. Additionally the cats seem to like it better. I can't fully explain what I mean by that maybe they find the clumps of wheat less offensive than clumps of other brands if that makes any sense. They just generally seem to hang out in there longer and sometimes I swear I catch them smiling upon exit. The only small con is that it tends to clump too much at the bottom of the box so it takes a little extra work cleaning the boxes. However because this litter eliminates odor completely somehow magically we're Swheat Scoopers 4 life. I am SO happy we found this litter.
No litter is perfect but this is the best Pros1. Better odor containment and neutralization than virtually any other litter I've ever tried no gross perfumey smell.2. Low tracking compared to most litters especially clay litters.3. Lower dust than clay still some but not as much.4. Better for the environment no clay strip mining no toxic additives and for your cats' health.5. Lighter weight than clay for easier lugging from the store to home.6. Price is good $6.50 for 12.3 lbs at my grocery store especially when you remember that you can't do a pound by pound comparison to clay clay is heavier by volume.7. Coupons for every 12 you can send in proof of purchase clippings that get you a free box/bag in whatever size you buy it and they also send some $1 off coupons as a bonus.8. Excellent customer service. It's a small company in Detroit that just makes litter and they will talk to you oneonone and help you in any way they can.9. From the last point it's made in the USA.10.
Decent ecofriendly litter I've tried almost every kind of litter out there for my cat but this one tracks the most. The little wheat pieces stick onto his feet and scatter everywhere. But it is ecofriendly and flushable which is important to me. I wouldn't call the odor control quite as good as the clay litters but it does clump up nicely. We've gone through a few bags and plan to continue since as another reviewer said the pros outweigh the cons.
not great I have two cats who had no trouble with using the litter we have two litterboxes and I only mixed this into one but the stuff is lousy odor control and needs to be dumped after two days and that's not going to work. The cats used it for two days and then abandoned the box for the old litter & I couldn't argue with the. I clean the boxes daily yet Seriously it smelled so strongly of ammonia well it made my eyes burn and I found that totally unacceptable.
My favorite cat litter and I've tried em all. I love that this litter does not have anythat I can detect smell. It does have just a little dust clumps beautifully. Lasts just as long as the smelly litters.
Bug Heaven Noooo! Don't use this stuff if your home is prone to pests! We recently had a HUGE problem with pantry mothsin our closet where we kept the cat box. Pantry moths do in fact eat wheat. After WEEKS of moth traps a new litter box and DEFINITELY new litter we finally got rid of our infestation.
Love Swheat Scoop!! After trying many many brands of kitty litter I finally found one that is environmentally friendly and pretty affordable! I used to use Fresh Step but HATED the amount of dust that got everywhere. It's disgusting. Just pouring the litter into the box you choke on all the dust it creates and it leaves a solid layer of black grime on everything. After reading many reviews I chose Swheat Scoop because you can flush it. After using it for about 2 weeks I am definitely in love! There is NO DUST!!!!! My cat is sooo much happier not having to breath in the dust every time she goes to the bathroom. I found that is clumps fairly well considering it is completely natural. I do wish that there was a stronger scent to cover the ammonia smell which is why I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 but I think if I add some baking soda it will help. I scoop my litter ever day and never had an issue with it sticking to the litter box. I heard Worlds Best smells better but after reading all the reviews about how dusty it is I won't try it. Swheat Scoop doesn't track nearly as much as clay litter does it's nice to not have to vacuum everyday.I totally suggest you try Swheat Scoop you wont be disappointed!!Plus they come with coupons so you can get a bag free after collecting 12 of them.
Worked great for years but now I'm bugged I've been using Swheat Scoop for the past seven years and have been a big fan of it. It clumps well controls odors isn't excessively dusty doesn't cling to my cats' paws like cement and doesn't aggravate my cats' breathing problems.A few days ago I opened up a fresh package of Swheat Scoop Multi Cat poured it into the litter box and was horrified to see that there were hundreds of small insects in it. Yes hundreds. Most of them were dead but I can't be certain that they were ALL dead so I immediately dumped this brand new litter into a garbage bag and threw it out. The LAST thing I need in my life right now is a bug infestation.I went to a different store and purchased another package of Swheat Scoop. Brought it home and had the exact same problem full of bugs.Swheat Scoop has a very firm statement on their web site about the bug issue claiming that there is no way the bugs can originate from the factory. Even if that's true the fact remains that I purchased two separate packages from two separate vendors who use two separate distributors and both were infested. To make matters worse the vast majority of pet supply stores and department stores will NOT give you a refund on cat litter purchases unless the package is unopened. I learned this the hard way unfortunately.I've always loved this product and I've convinced many friends to switch to it. I've given Swheat Scoop a lot of new customers not to mention the thousands of dollars I've spent on it over the past seven years but now I find myself looking for a new litter.
Best. Cat Litter. Ever. I picked up a box of Swheat Scoop in the grocery store one day on a whim. It was on sale for almost half the price of my usual litter so I just shrugged and plunked it in my cart. I didn't even need litter that day. Best impulse buy I EVER made. I live with roommates so I have to keep my cat's litterbox wedged in a tiny closet in my bathroom where smells tend to collect and never go away remove the source of the smell it will still linger for days. I tried EVERYTHING to stop this from happening but about a month after I moved in the smell had begun to spill over into my bathroom and soon the entire master suite smelled permenantly of litter. Within a week of switching to Swheat Scoop the smell began to dissipate and is now only a distant memory so is the dusty mess of clay litter.
TOO TASTY FOR DOGS Not a good choice if you have dogs at home. My dog has always grabbed a snack or 2 from the litter box if she gets an opportunity but when I put the swheat scoop in she devoured the clean litter. Ate so much she made herself sick.

  • Safely digestible.
  • Clay and chemical free.
  • Soft on sensitive paws.

  • Best cat litter ever!!! For a few years now Swheat Scoop is the one and only cat litter I use. My cats like it and the best thing is that it's flushable! It doesn't contain harmful chemicals that your beloved pet breaths in and cleans from its fur. Swheat Scoop is the only litter on the market that's certified flushable in sewer or septic systems.
SWheat cat litter This litter is really wonderful. I have 3 cats and have tried many. This litter is very soft and silky to the touch I believe it feels good to their paws andtherefore encourages use of the litter box. I am still using clumping clay inone of the three boxes so as to give the cats a choice. They are all differentand somewhat finicky. This litter is flushable which is a big deal it's gone in an instant and doesnot clog the plumbing. It's also a natural food product so if any is ingested itwon't be harmful. My cats don't eat it but some do! There is never any odor whichis remarkable as it's not scented.
Too light This Swheat Scoop Natural Cat Litter was so light that it stuck to my cat's paws and that made her uneasy. She was never in the litter box more than a few seconds and after jumping out of the box she shook her legs to get the clingy litter off of them. Now I am back to claytype litter. She likes the density of clay litter. If your cats hate sticky material to their feet this product may not work.
