Great product cheaper than in stores! I received my Scoop Away in a boxed package and completely intact. No holes no spills. This was my first time ordering cat litter online but it was cheaper so I gave it a try. I'm glad I did because this was also my first time trying this brand and I loooved it.
Cat's Adverse Reaction New Ammonia Shield? We have used Scoop Away Unscented for years without problems but about three days after we started using a fresh box with the new Ammonia Shield added we noticed our cat overgrooming his paws and pulling tufts of fur out from them. Then he went into shutdown mode and hid in a closet all day as be does when he's ill. Since the only recent change was the litter we replaced it with Cat's Pride Natural which claims to be hypoallergenic. Within three days our cat was back to normal frisky and no longer gnawing at his paws or pulling his fur out. We don't know for sure that the new Ammonia Shield made our cat sick but we don't plan to risk buying Scoop Away again while this new ingredient is in it.
Truly Amazing! This is the ONLY cat litter I have ever used that I don't have to wear a MASK when I'm scooping out stuff.
Used to be a 5star item of choice for me I could be wrong my husband even said so once but I think the formula has changed for this cat litter. It used to be my go to litter of choice and I was happy with it for YEARS. And it still does a superb job on odor. But within the last few months it seems to be working in a different way and not pleasantly so. Urine actually collects and pools on the slightly older clumps yeah I don't scoop as often as I should and it is nasty. If I do not get to the clumps the same day they turn wet soft and sticky. This also happens with the multicat formula. This never ever happened prior to a few months ago even after 2 or 3 days of untending. Still this is what I continue to buy but I might have to start looking at other brands again.
Very impressed! I ordered this because I needed litter quickly without ever trying this brand before. I am very impressed how well it clumps and the odor is kept in the litter box. I have been using the expensive crystals but I am switching to this brand it works so well and my kitties seem to have no problem with it.
Hernia Inducing Cat Litter I used Fresh Step and Scoop Away cat litters for many years and was quick to tell any of my cat owner friends that they were the best bang for the buck litters. They clumped hard making the chore of cleaning the cat box a relatively easy one. Sometime around 6 months ago that all changed. Now they form a sludge in the cat box that is nearly impossible to scrape out. The amount of effort necessary to clean the box could easily induce a muscle strain or hernia for those unfortunate enough to purchase one of these litters. Both products are made by the Clorox Pet products Co.
Saves you money and time! I had always used cheep cat litter. Once I bought this product I have found it lasts much longer and there is no cat odor.

This stuff made my friend's cat very sick. Reading around the 'web, it seems that Scoop Away recently changed its formula. Vomiting, hair loss and food refusal are the most common symptoms.
